The original BongoChina website structure, visual design, page layouts, project-specific code and original project wording are attributed to the project owner. The project-owner-supplied Changsha photographs are included on the basis of the owner's stated permission status. The complete design and codebase may not be copied, republished or redistributed without the project owner's permission, except where applicable law or an explicit licence allows otherwise.

## Third-party and generated material
This notice does not claim exclusive ownership of third-party fonts, linked resources, factual material or any image/artwork identified as third-party or AI-assisted. Those items remain subject to their respective owners' rights and licence terms. Review `SOURCES.md` before public release and keep required attributions.

## Personal photographs
The Changsha photographs in `assets/student-life/` were supplied for this project and are placed only in the International Student Life at Changsha Social Work College gallery. The project owner stated that photo consent is available. Before public release, retain permission from identifiable people shown and check that it covers public online display in the intended jurisdictions.

## AI-generated illustrative images
Images in `assets/ai-generated/` were generated as illustrative visual material. They are not documentary photographs of a specific named event, restaurant, person or location. Captions identify them as AI-generated illustrations. Do not present them as proof that a depicted scene actually occurred.

## Image uniqueness
Each story card has a dedicated image path. The Changsha personal photographs are assigned only to the student-life section. `validate-project.js` and `validate-gallery.js` check image paths and duplicate placement.

The current Changsha photo archive contains 23 owner-supplied photographs. File names and captions are editorial descriptions; the owner should retain the original files and any relevant participant permissions for public release.
